Graduate of Chattahoochee Tech-Electrical Systems

Started as a carpenter and decided to go back to school and learn to be an electrician. Graduated from Chattahoochee Tech in 2007 and joined Lightning Bug immediately! I have learned so much through their rigorous training sessions and testing, I enjoy being a part of such a fun and open door company. All the technicians here have taught me the right way to install electrical and I continue to learn each and every day. I enjoy working in people's homes and have tenacity to find solutions others have not even thought about trying. I pride myself on staying up with the latest technologies and products available.

When Josh came to us looking for a job he was so enthusiastic that I couldn't tell him no. Since he joined us in 2007 Josh has quickly become a staple for Lightning Bug, customers love his personality, and he is perfect textbook electrician. Josh was the first electrician we had the opportunity to train from the start and he has an amazing work ethic that you just can't teach.

Experience: 16 Years | With Lightning Bug 5 Years

I started out in the trade as soon as I graduated High School with a friend and I found that I was very good at it and actually enjoyed what I did. I originally was working on commercial projects, and then started working on homes during the housing boom. I joined Lightning Bug in 2005 and came back in 2011. I missed working with homeowners and finding solutions to their electrical problems. I am a very detail oriented person and I tend to catch mistakes commonly overlooked by other electricians. I am an avid Civil War Enthusiast and love spending time with my family when I am done with my work day.

Roland is a great electrician and takes pride in his craft and his customers seem to love him and keep requesting him to come back and do more. We are happy to have him back and look forward to him continuing to help our company grow.

Jennifer C.

Experience: 3.5 Years | Eaton Certified | Osha Certified

I joined Lightning Bug in 2010 as an electrical apprentice and have been working hard every day to expand my electrical knowledge and experience in this exciting trade. I like to see a job done right the first time and I enjoy being able to look at a job and offer the best solutions. If I had to say what part of my job I enjoy the most, it would be lighting design. I enjoy coming up with a great lighting plan and the look on the customers face when they turn on the lights for the first time. My goal is to attain my electrical license in a field that is mainly male dominated. I feel that I have to work extra hard to prove myself and instead of giving 110%, I give 150%.

Jennifer takes pride in her work and what I appreciate the most is the fact that she enjoys what she does and wants to do the job the right way without taking short cuts. In our trade shortcuts are not good and we depend a lot on the installers and she makes us proud to have her on our team.

Michael W.

Experience: 18 Years | Lived in Atlanta since 1980.

I am new to Lighting Bug Electric but not new to the Electrical trade. I started in the trade in new construction as well as remodeling electrical systems in homes and businesses. I am very loyal person and single father of a great son Ashton. Having a child has giving me an appreciation and understanding of family values and needs concerning safety. When I am on your job I make sure it is installed safely and to code.

Experience: 18 Years

I like long walks on the beach, lifetime movies and romance novels. I like to think I am a funny person unless you ask my wife. I enjoy coaching football and helping kids be the best they can be. I am a GA Native and have been in the electrical field for 18 years. I enjoy helping people and the daily challenges of my job. I started out in the residential new construction wiring of homes and then went to work in the service side.

Jason is funny most of the time, and does like long walks on the beach. Besides the sensitive side of Jason he is a great team builder and brings a lot a great experience to our company. We appreciate his professionalism and always bringing a great attitude to work. It is always a pleasure working with him.

Tim J.

Experience: 30 Years

I have thirty years of electrical experience spanning three decades and have seen electricity come a long way in safety and products. Getting up every morning and knowing that there will be new challenges that I have not seen keeps me going. I am a grandfather and I like the outdoors. Spending time with my grand baby is one of the most relaxing things I can do, besides that I enjoy boating on the lake.

We are very please to have Tim with our company. Tim brings a vast amount of electrical experience and knowledge and will be a great asset to our company. Not only is Tim a great electrician I think he would make a great comedian so make sure to ask him to do a few jokes for you.

I am new to the electrical field and learning what being green means! I am very excited to be in the electrical field and starting a new career. I am currently in the Army National Guard . I stay busy having a career in the electrical field and my commitments in the Guard. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my fiancee and look forward to the future which is so bright I have to wear shades!
