It's not often that I can give a review that deserves well over a 5-star review and this is one of those cases. I had the time of my life talking and learning about electricity from what I would have to say was a qualified expert. Both Josh and Hunter were engaging and more than willing to teach and share their knowledge with me, polite, respectful, and OMG just general conversation that I had been thirsting for for a very long time. Six hours flew by and I really hated to see them leave, cleaned up their mess, and left it in better condition than when they found it. I would highly recommend the dynamic duo of Josh and Hunter, you won't be disappointed and if you are a talker, Josh is the man to engage with. Again I can't emphasize the quality and explaining of things in layman's terms. I would love to sit down and have dinner and a beer with them anytime. I know this is a lengthy review and I am already trying to cut it short. My most sincere thanks to Lightning Bug for sending Josh and Hunter to service my needs, I will most certainly tell my friends and others about the top shelf service I received. I am a talker and love people so this was a real treat to engage these two for six hours. They deserve a raise for putting up with me for six hours, LOL. For those that are reading this, don't hesitate to ask for this pair for any and all electrical needs.

We called Lightning Bug to bring our daughter’s new home up to date. There were many issues left by the previous owners. I asked for Steve, who had worked on my house. Steve did an excellent job. He and his helper Cairo did a thorough inspection. He made recommendations, and we chose a whole house upgrade. Steve and Cairo did a wonderful job, on both small and large problems. I feel confident that my daughter and her fiancé now have a safe and efficient electric system. Would definitely hire Lightning Bug again!

Griffin and Joseph did excellent work for me today. I had a laundry list of work that needed done, including a full replacement of my electrical panel, a replacement of my dryer outlet, and installing GFCIs. They were professional yet personable, and in some ways it felt like having a couple friends over to help. The work was all done within the timeframe allotted during the initial meeting, and while Joseph was working on the panel, Griffin took point on the interior work, answering my numerous questions without complaint. I can easily recommend this service to anyone able to budget for it. All of the pricing fell in line with my expectations based on what shopping I'd done before booking the appointment, and I'm very satisfied with the level of work and quality of parts used in everything done.

On Saturday, our AC unit went out. After replacing the capacitor, I noticed a very unusual smell coming from the breaker box. I immediately called Lightning Bug Electric, since I had used them before and I’m so glad I did. It turned out the original Challenger breaker panel had failed, and the breakers were actually melting into the bus bar. Aaron B. from Lightning Bug came to the rescue. At 7:15 on a Saturday night, he replaced the entire panel. He arrived on time, was extremely professional, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. Lightning Bug Electric did an AMAZING job. I was experiencing intermittent issues with breakers tripping. LBE quickly arranged for Cody to come assess my home. He quickly diagnosed a significant danger with my panel overheating and provided a very approachable price to address the issues. LBE prioritized a same-day schedule, and within 2 hours, Steven and Brayden were on-site. They replaced my panel, tested every service point, and fully resolved all my electrical issues same day. They kept me informed, consulted me for any decisions, and treated my home with care I would expect if it were their own property. Daniel and Brandon were at my home today to replace a ceiling fan on a vaulted ceiling. They were on time, polite, and professional. All details were explained in a friendly and easily understandable manner. During the ceiling fan replacement, Daniel noticed a problem with the switch panel and made the repair while they were here.
