On Saturday, our AC unit went out. After replacing the capacitor, I noticed a very unusual smell coming from the breaker box. I immediately called Lightning Bug Electric, since I had used them before and I’m so glad I did. It turned out the original Challenger breaker panel had failed, and the breakers were actually melting into the bus bar. Aaron B. from Lightning Bug came to the rescue. At 7:15 on a Saturday night, he replaced the entire panel. He arrived on time, was extremely professional, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He quickly diagnosed a significant danger with my panel overheating and provided a very approachable price to address the issues. LBE prioritized a same-day schedule, and within 2 hours, Steven and Brayden were on-site. They replaced my panel, tested every service point, and fully resolved all my electrical issues same day. Daniel and Brandon were at my home today to replace a ceiling fan on a vaulted ceiling. They were on time, polite, and professional. All details were explained in a friendly and easily understandable manner. During the ceiling fan replacement, Daniel noticed a problem with the switch panel and made the repair while they were here. Griffin and J.D. did an excellent job! They replaced 2 ceiling fans and installed a third. Two of the ceiling fans were in vaulted ceilings. They also replaced 3 loud exhaust fans in the bathrooms with new, quiet models, and updated the lights over the lavatories. They also added a whole-house surge protector to our panel box. The job was extensive, but they stayed until it was completed. They cleaned up any mess and hauled away the boxes. I highly recommend them.

I had Lightning Bug Electric replace the main electrical panel in our garage after some flooding. While I would not have called my initial experience perfect, LBE followed up, unprompted, and sent the technician back out to fix the issues we had. A few days later, we had an issue with our dryer on the weekend. I called LBE, and they had another technician, Aaron, at our house within a few hours. He confirmed it was an issue with the initial panel repair, fixed it, and got everything working again free of charge. LBE turned what could have been a subpar experience into a great one, and I would happily call them again if needed.

I would give this company 10 stars if I could. My service team was awesome! Cody came out to do the assessment. He was personable and sensitive to my goals for my current home. Their quote was more reasonable than others by a large amount, but their work was very thorough and professional. They did work that was necessary without adding any unnecessary costs, unlike the quotes of their competitors. Cody was even available after his visit to answer questions for me. When the work started, Aaron was my master electrician. He worked so hard for two days straight. He was courteous, professional, and stopped to answer questions whenever I had them. He and his co-worker, Jake, worked late hours to get the job done. Aaron and Jake went above and beyond to make sure everything was shipshape before they left. They even came back later to fix something. They drove out of their way after they finished the job. This was probably the best experience with any company that I've ever had. Thank you!
