Steve and Cameron were an amazing team working on our electrical work! We had a lot of things that needed to be done. I appreciated that they also pulled Christian and Steve (Scuba) to come work on our house the same day. Steve is a wonderful asset to the company with his years of experience and personable approach. They were all willing to stay into the evening to help make sure we were able to get our power back on. All team members were very kind and professional. I felt safe at home with my little ones with me while they worked. They were considerate of the needs of my baby during the power outage. They provided timely updates on the progress of the work, were also very detail oriented, and I appreciated that they were thoughtful in cleanliness. I appreciated that they worked hard and demonstrated pride in bringing us great work. I felt that with Lightning Bug I was able to get an excellent value! I felt that the quality of the work was very good and that the price for it was also fair. I did get several other quotes but was glad I chose Lightning Bug! I would definitely recommend them and plan to use them in the future if needed! EXCELLENT work!

Great Work on the Hottest Day Jul 8, 2025

I had a loss of AC on the Fourth of July at a new rental home! The AC service person came, said it's not the AC, it's electrical. So I called Lightning Bug Electric. I brought the inspection report so they could fix EVERYTHING electrical that needed fixing. It took ALL day, on probably the hottest day all year: 100 degrees! And most of the work was outside in the sun! Steve brought his intern, Cameron, who is really good. One thing as a landlord I love about LBE is the internship program: nothing is worse than having your professional retire with no one to replace him, and this has happened to me too many times. And most companies don't put the time in with trainees to bring them up to the level of an experienced professional, which is what I always need. LBE really trains their interns and it shows in the work. I am thrilled they were able to address everything in the inspection report, so I can rest easy knowing the electrical system is safe and reliable now. Thanks, fellas. Great work!

Best electrical company in the area. Technicians are knowledgeable and efficient. They are on time and so easy to work with. Had an electrical issue last week after having the house pressure washed. Our experience with Lightning Bug was the best, from my initial conversation with the receptionist to the service provided! We recently purchased a '60s home that was in need of updated electrical work. Lightning Bug sent out an electrician with specialization in older homes, who did a wonderful and thorough job with his apprentice. They were very honest about what did and did not need to be remedied, and finished all of their updates the same day they came out to give us an estimate. We will definitely be calling them again for any future electrical updates and would recommend them to others!

Alexandre was fantastic. I had 3 electric projects that resulted from my home renovation: 1) resolve electrical outlets controlled by switches, 2) install a dimmer switch for 8 new canister lights I had installed & 3) install a light set that I purchased to be added to the ceiling fan in the family room. Not only did he do an outstanding job on these items, but also let me know that the surge suppressor on my wall panel needed to be updated to new code that came out in 2023. He handled this in such a way that the suppressor is now visible for any future events. Would recommend Lightning Bug & especially Alexandre to anyone needing electrical work.

I needed some new ceiling fans and outside lights installed, and being a repeat customer, I called LBE without hesitation. They were quick to respond, Mac was "Johnny on the spot" with an estimate that was very acceptable, so I put him to work. Mac and his partner, Ryan S., were very cordial, truly professional, listened to my concerns and needs, and got down to business. They worked hard, met every challenge (Mac found a fire hazard in my electrical panel and Ryan S. built and installed some very difficult fans). I was very pleased. I will be a repeat customer again and again, with professional electric technicians like these two guys, you can trust this company to do a great job and stand behind every bit of their work!
